The TNCC Web Schedule of Classes is updated three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). For the most current and accurate class information, please go to the PeopleSoft Student Information through MyTNCC.

Class schedules can be found under the Current Students and Future Students active links at the top of all pages on the Thomas Nelson website.

Step 1:
Select Schedule of Classes from the drop down box of available options.

Step 2:
From this page you may access class information by term, location, session offered, or subject area. Note: clicking on the blue hyperlinked words will take you to the information requested.

Step 3:
For example – clicking on Spring 2009 Schedule and 5 Week 1 Session will display all classes offered for the first 5 week session at all locations for the Spring 2009 term.

Definition of Terms:

  • Course: the Subject and Catalog Number is displayed
  • ID#: This is the unique identifier for each class and is necessary for registration, add/drop, and withdrawal. This number is hyperlinked to take you to class specific information related to the class offering.
  • Days: The days of the week the class is scheduled to meet. M=Monday, T=Tuesday, W=Wednesday, R=Thursday, F=Friday, S=Saturday, U=Sunday. N/A indicates a virtual time related to distance learning classes. Classes that meet for 1 minute indicates a virtual meeting for a hybrid (part in class and part distance) class.
  • Time: The time of the day the class is scheduled to meet.
  • Dates: The start and end date of the class (includes exam dates)
  • Campus: The campus the class is offered at.

Step 4:
Clicking on the blue hyperlinked class number will direct you to the class information page.

Definition of Terms:

  • Term: Term the class is offered
  • Subject: Long descriptor for the Subject
  • Session: Session class is offered
  • Course: Subject and Catalog Number for the class
  • Course Title: Title of the Course
  • Class ID#: Unique class identifier – number used for registering
  • Section: Class Section Number
  • Units: Credit value of the class
  • Class Days: Days of the week the class meets
  • Start Time: Class begins
  • End Time: Class ends
  • Building/Room #: Class meets in this room in this building – with a brief descriptor of the room (computer, general, lab)
  • Instructor Name: Name of instructor teaching class (Staff indicates an instructor has not been assigned to the class)
  • Special Notes: Important information of importance to the students about the
    class.
  • Enrollment Status: Open/Closed (please refer to the refresh date of the web schedule – confirmation is only obtained via MyTNCC)
  • Start Date: Start date for term – (TR class will meet on first Tuesday following
    start date of class)
  • End Date: Last date class meets – includes exam dates
  • Building Code: Code assigned to building – any class meeting in HAMPTON
    building will meet in one of the buildings on the main Hampton campus. Refer to the locations directory.
  • Campus: Campus class is assigned to
  • Full Course Description: Credit value – pre or co requisites – and a brief description of the class. Lecture/lab required component meeting times.

Step 5:
You may return to the main web schedule from this page – or search different class information by clicking on the blue hyperlinked choices:

By using the drop downs with Subject Area, Location, and Session – you can change your class selection to review other offerings. Note the refresh date under Important Notices.

Step 6:
To proceed to MyTNCC – click on the Register Now button that is available on all pages in the Schedule of Classes. This will take you to the MyTNCC resource page.

Refer to this page often for updated information relevant to students at Thomas Nelson.
You may also access the help menu for resources to help guide you through the registration process.

To log in to MyTNCC – click the LOGIN NOW to MyTNCC button.

MyTNCC provides a common point of entry to access Blackboard, Student Email, the Student Information System, and to manage account information using one logon and one password.

Users must look up their Username, Empl ID, and set their password the first time they access their accounts.
