Proctored Testing

The Testing Center provides test proctoring for Thomas Nelson students who have missed a class and must make-up a test. The Testing Center cannot accommodate testing for an entire class, with the exception of distance learning and online classes for which prior arrangements have been made with the testing specialist. Students with disabilities who need special testing assistance must make arrangements in advance with the college disabilities coordinator. Services are provided to other college students who make prior arrangements with the testing center.

Instructions for Students:

Students must come to the center with sufficient time for completing tests, as determined by their instructors. The Testing Center does NOT allow children in the area during the administration of tests. Students must show photo identification for each test session. Cell phones and wrist watch computers are not permitted in the testing area.

Instructions for Faculty:

Complete a Make-Up Testing Form and attach it to tests to be administered. Tests may be sent through inter-office mail or hand carried to the Testing Center. Return of tests must be through inter-office mail, or picked up by the instructor.

Testing schedule and testing location for distance learners and on-line students will be determined by the instructor of the class.
