Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) Financial Aid Director Kathryn Anderson has announced that the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is accepting applications for 2012-13 Visual Arts Fellowships. The deadline to apply is Thursday, November 10.

Awards under this fellowship include $8,000 for professional artists; $6,000 for graduate students in Visual Arts and Art History; and $4,000 for undergraduate students in Visual Arts or college-bound high school seniors.
Since 1940, the Fellowship program has awarded over $4 million in support to Virginia’s professional artists and art students, according to Elizabeth Cruickshanks, Fellowship Program Coordinator for the museum’s Art and Education Division.
