Five-week Session at TNCC Begins Sept. 24

Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) will offer two courses during its second five-week class session that begins September 24. SDV 100: College Success Skills will be available at the Hampton and Historic Triangle campuses. NUR 200: Essentials of Mental Health Nursing will be offered at the Historic Triangle campus.
College Success Skills is a one-credit course that provides information about TNCC resources, academic and career planning and effective study habits. A requirement for graduation, the course is recommended for first-year students.
Essentials of Mental Health Nursing provides students with supervised instruction in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies to guide them through lessons about lifetime care for individuals, families and groups with mental health needs.
Students enrolled in the second five-week session may add or change classes through September 26.
