TNCC Workforce Development has a long-standing history of working with major industry partners. Through co-op programs with business, government and community employers, such as Canon, Northrop Grumman, and NASA, workers can earn a salary and benefits as they gain valuable high tech skills. Meanwhile the under- and unemployed can prepare for good paying positions through accelerated courses designed for and with employers.

Thomas Nelson Community College awards credit toward completion of Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees in Information Systems Technology (IST) and Information Technology (IT), and applicable Career Studies Certificates, for industry-related certifications. Credentials for advanced standing or credit will be reviewed and appropriate credit will be posted at the time a student enrolls at TNCC.
