Leading Entrepreneurship Educator Addresses the Entrepreneurial Mindset at Forum

Thomas Nelson Workforce will welcome Gary Schoeniger as the keynote speaker at the Peninsula Entrepreneurship Forum. Schoeniger is an internationally known leader in the field of entrepreneurship education and the entrepreneurial mindset. The forum will be held May 22, from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Peninsula Workforce Development Center.

Schoeniger currently serves as CEO of the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative. He recently partnered with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation to release the Ice House Entrepreneurship program, an interactive entrepreneurship training program for growing and established individuals and organizations interested in learning about entrepreneurship. Schoeniger is also co-author of “Who Owns the Ice House: Eight Life Lessons from an Unlikely Entrepreneur.”

Thomas Nelson is currently integrating the Ice House program and book in the Entrepreneurial Leadership Academy. Local “celebrity entrepreneurs” will also join the forum to share how they launched their small business and what the entrepreneurial mindset is all about.
