On Wednesday, June 8th, work will begin to replace much of the shelving in the Hampton campus library. The work is expected to be completed no later than Friday, June 24th.
During this time, the bookshelves that are being replaced will be closed off to students, but students may request books at the library circulation desk. In addition, the quiet study area within the library will be closed due to the noise from the construction.
All of the scholarly journal and digital library collections will still be accessible. Library patrons may visit with a librarian to obtain any needed materials or research. Books that may be temporarily unavailable will be sought through alternative library resources. The library gallery will continue to be available as an alternative study area.
