No Appointment Needed! Students may stop by or contact a writing consultant by phone or e-mail during hours of operation at either campus. On-line resources are listed below for distance learners and for the convenience of all TNCC students. Our goal is to help you become a better writer, and we believe that collaboration is the key. We won’t proofread your paper, but we will help you think critically about your own writing, and will offer suggestions to make your writing stronger.
TNCC Students with disabilities may request assistance from LRC Staff. Based on need, students may be referred to the Disabled Students Services Office.
The College Writing Center Provides:
- Friendly, helpful advice with any stage of the writing process.
- Assistance with specific types of essays such as narrative, descriptive, argumentative, and research.
- Tutorial resources that can help you review grammar terms or correct basic grammar errors that may appear in your writing.
Remember; improving your writing skills or correcting your grammar errors will not happen overnight; therefore, you should come to the center as soon as you begin to experience problems.
