Middle College Expands to Williamsburg

Workforce Development now offers the Middle College program in Williamsburg. The free program prepares young adults ages 18-24 years for in-demand careers as they earn their GED. Classes take place at TNCC’s Historic Triangle campus is Williamsburg. Available training includes Nurse Aide, Welding, HVAC, Medical Coding and Billing, Automotive, and more.

Middle College offers young adults who have not completed high school opportunities and employment training. In less than eight weeks, students can earn their GED and enroll in college via this innovative initiative. Since the program’s inception in 2009, TNCC has graduated several students and put them on the pathway to a rewarding career.

i have been in the military for 14 yrs, I am jourmeny in water and waste water teartment and plumbing . is there any class i can take to get my cerf. in the civilian work force

I see that in order to be considered in the enrollment process,you must score a 9.0 or higher on the Middle College Placement Test. Will there be any study guides or pre-tests to help?
