The Associate in Science in Information Technology program prepares students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities and provides training in all aspects of managing and processing information and related technologies. Another new degree program, the Associate in Applied Science in Human Services, trains students in ethical practices, communication skills as well as crisis prevention, intervention and resolution. It also teaches the application of psychological and sociological knowledge and skills, basic group dynamic skills, and more. The program prepares students for jobs such as caseworker, advocate, home-based healthcare assistant, Human Services Program specialist and counselor assistant, to note a few.
