Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) has launched Financial Aid TV (FATV), an online video tool designed to help students better understand college financial aid and the steps needed to apply for aid. Available 24 hours a day, year round, FATV can be viewed at http://tncc.financialaidtv.com/
“The service will provide financial aid services with another tool to assist students with questions regarding the financial aid process, as well as questions related to veteran benefits and financial literacy. FATV provides us with a different avenue of communication that students will respond well to,” said TNCC’s Director of Financial Aid Services Kathryn Anderson.
Anderson said the videos allow students to conveniently get fast and reliable answers to financial aid questions avoiding lines and phone calls. “I believe this program is a worthy investment and the College has been extremely supportive of our efforts,” she said.
TNCC is the second among Virginia’s 23 community colleges to launch FATV, noted Anderson. The system can be customized to fit the College’s needs.
