TNCC’s Nursing Program to Triple in Size at Historic Triangle Campus
Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) will triple the size of its Nursing program at the Historic Triangle campus in Williamsburg during the spring 2010 semester. The College will welcome 30 students into the program normally limited to 10 new students. The increased admission is attributed to the larger facilities at the College’s newest campus. Opened in July, the Historic Triangle campus is a 120,000 square-foot facility that sits on more than 74 acres of land next to Warhill High School at 4601 Opportunity Way in Williamsburg.
“The classrooms are state-of-the-art with Smartboards and high-tech sound. The Nursing lab is very spacious with a large nurse’s station, seven complete hospital beds with mannequins and examination equipment, computer stations, and a simulation mannequin,” said Associate Professor of Nursing Pam Biernacki.
