Starting spring 2017

Advanced manufacturing is growing here on the Peninsula, opening up more opportunities in cybersecurity, one of the fastest growing industries in the nation. As manufacturing becomes more advanced, Thomas Nelson is preparing its students to protect the technologies and infrastructures of the Peninsula’s manufacturing companies.

The Cybersecurity for LAN CSC provides students with an accelerated and focused program that gives them the core skill set needed to become cybersecurity specialists.

The Cybersecurity for LAN CSC prepares students to test for and obtain the Network+ and Security+ certifications.

The Cybersecurity for LAN CSC program can be completed in two semesters.

Possibilities 

These certifications will allow students to demonstrate proof of knowledge and expertise in security topics and a fundamental understanding of networking technology.
