Registration for spring classes at Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) is underway through January. Spring classes begin Saturday, January 8. Holiday closures at the College during the registration time frame include November 25-28 in observance of Thanksgiving, and December 24 through January 2 for winter break.
Students can register online at www.tncc.edu, or in person on the Hampton campus in the Welcome Center, room 221-I, Griffin Hall. Service hours for registration are:
- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
- 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. — Thursday
Students may also register in person at the Historic Triangle campus, 4601 Opportunity Way in Williamsburg, during the same service hours in room 117. The deadline for tuition payment is December 3. Students who register after December 3 must pay tuition at the time of registration.
During spring semester, TNCC will offer courses in more than 50 fields of study. Among available classes are Introduction to Computer Science, Computer Science I, Computer Organization, Computers and Information Systems Web Page Design I, Database Fundamentals, Introduction to Engineering Technology, Engineering Drawing Fundamentals I, General College Physics I, Electrical Control Systems, Algebra I & II and Principles of Accounting I. Spring semester classes will also include Introduction to Business, Principles of Marketing, Introduction to Nursing and Health, Fundamentals of Nursing, History of Western Civilization I & II, History of World Civilization I & II, History and Appreciation of Art I &II, College Composition I &II, English as a Second Language: Reading II, Public Information Technology and E-Governance, Beginning French II, Beginning Arabic II and Beginning German II, among many other classes .
