The Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) Educational Foundation offers a number of scholarships to recognize outstanding performance and assist students in receiving a quality education. TNCC offers a wide variety of scholarships that are designed, but not limited to meet the needs of:
- Graduating high school seniors, entering freshman, and returning students
- Financial Need Based
- Discipline focused
Unless otherwise stated, scholarships are available for either part- or full-time students. All scholarship funds will be used to pay tuition, fees, and books at TNCC only. Any monies remaining at the end of the semester(s) will be returned to the TNCC Educational Foundation.
Deadlines
First priority is given to completed scholarship applications (pdf): April 1 for Fall Semester Sessions November 1 for Spring Semester Sessions. An original completed Scholarship application, an essay, and any required supplemental materials as stated by the specific scholarship (such as statements of recommendation), must be received in the Financial Aid Office either:

Applicants are highly encouraged to submit Scholarship Applications after the
deadlines; however each submission will be reviewed case by case and are
contingent on the availability of scholarship funds.
* In order for a scholarship application to be considered, a formal
application for admission to TNCC and all transcripts must be received or on
file in the Admission and Welcome Center in Griffin Hall room 201.
