THE VIRGINIA PENINSULA – Spring into the Future is the theme of the Open House to be held at Thomas Nelson Community College’s Historic Triangle Campus on Saturday, April 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Registration and continental breakfast will start at 8:30 a.m. The Open House is open to the entire community. The TNCC Historic Triangle Campus is located at 161-A John Jefferson Square in Williamsburg.
Parents, along with new, prospective and returning students are invited to participate in the College’s Open House to meet with the TNCC faculty and deans of the college’s four academic divisions who take pride in helping students meet high standards in the classroom while creating a supportive learning environment. Participants attending the Open House will also have an opportunity to meet with TNCC staff to discuss admission, transfer options, financial aid, scholarships, and other services available at the College. Registration for the summer and fall semesters will also be available. A student panel has also been scheduled to give current students the opportunity to talk to prospective students and parents about their educational experience at TNCC. A discussion panel with the department deans is also scheduled. A campus tour will be conducted during the event.
In 2003, the college received designation for its second campus (Historic Triangle) in the Williamsburg area because of the extensive growth. The TNCC Historic Triangle Campus offers five complete programs, which are A.A. in Liberal Arts, A.S. in Business Administration, A.S. in Social Science, A.S. in Science, and A.A.S. in Nursing.
