| Full Course Description | : | (3 credits) Prerequisite(s): BIO 141 and NUR 100, NUR 104, NUR 105, NUR 117, NUR 135 and BIO 142. Teaches care of individuals/families requiring medical or surgical treatment. Uses all components of the nursing process with increasing degrees of skill. Includes math computational skills and basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies. Lecture 2 hours + lab 3 hours = total 5 hours per week. |
