Special Notes : The above section will be conducted in a combination of traditional classroom lecture and online (Distance Learning) delivery. Students must have regular access to a computer and the Internet to successfully complete this course. Orientations for Fall 2012 will be held on Wednesday, August 15, from 5-6 pm in the Mary T. Christian Auditorium in Templin Hall on the Hampton Campus and Thursday, August 16, from 5-6 pm in the Commonwealth Classroom - room 110 - at the Historic Triangle Campus. Full Course Description : (1 credit) Prerequisite(s): ENF 1 or ENF 2 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostics tests or equivalent. Co-requisite(s): NUR 100, NUR 104, NUR 105, NUR 135 and BIO 141. Introduces a systematic approach to developing nursing care plans utilizing the nursing process. Care plans are formulated in an effort to meet the biopsychosocial needs of clients across the life span. Lecture 1 hour per week.
