Special Notes : EMS Basic to Paramedic and Intermediate to Paramedic.. Students in Intermediate to Paramedic only take 201, 205, 207 and 209. Classes are taught by Nickolas Klimenko and Associates and are delivered at 210 Packets Court in Williamsburg. Students are required to visit their web site, www.nkaems.com, for detailed information and to complete their program registration form. There is an additional one-time administrative fee of $600.00, payable to NKA, which is due by the first class meeting. There is a mandatory program orientation meeting at 6:30 PM on August 15. Classes will meet on few Saturdays - dates to be discusssed at the first class meeting

Full Course Description : (3 credits) Prerequisite(s): EMT/B Certification. The purpose of this course is to prepare the EMS student to use community resources to facilitate personal and community wellness and fulfills the wellness and resource objectives of the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services Intermediate curriculum. Lecture 3 hours per week.
