(First 4 weeks) This section is restricted to students requiring only 1 unit of the new developmental mathematics. Students may not complete more than one unit. There will be 2 mandatory meetings required for this section. The required class dates are January 13 and February 10, 2014. The above section will be conducted in a combination of classroom meetings and online (Distance Learning) delivery. Students must have regular access to a computer and the Internet and be able to work independently to successfully complete this course. Student orientation to BlackBoard and MyLabsPlus will be conducted during the first mandatory class meetings. Anyone not attending this first meeting may be withdrawn from the course. Class dates: January 13 - February 10, 2014.
(1 credit) Covers mathematics topics in a technology-based setting to prepare students for the study of college level mathematics courses and curricula. Designed for the study of one developmental math unit prescribed by the student's placement test results. Credits not applicable toward graduation. Lecture 1 hour per week. Students requiring 2 or more developmental math units must register for MTT II, MTT III or MTT IV depending on the number of units required.
