We offer a wide-range of programs during the summer to seize the attention of middle school students; high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors. Allow your students to discover the latest technology at Thomas Nelson.
Peninsula K-Next! - June 2016
This camp introduces rising middle and high school students to manufacturing while allowing them to design, produce and manufacture products using manufacturing machines. Camp-goers will explore the world of entrepreneurship, learning how to sell their product from design to marketing.
Imagineering! & Creative Technology - July 2016
Imagineering is the perfect camp for students who have previously attended Peninsula K-Next! Students will focus on more advanced technological skills including more in-depth CAD programs and 3D printing machines.
This camp requires student to take their products to the next level of entrepreneurship presenting their product to a panel of judges, seeking funding, similar to the television show “Shark Tank.”
The Hover Games - August 10-16, 2015
For the first time, The Hover Games will offer students an opportunity to build, program, and fly a “quadcopter.” Open to students who have previously attended Imagineering!, as well as rising eighth graders through high school juniors. In addition to the use of CAD and 3D printers throughout the week, campers will also visit state-of-the-art companies operating in the world of unmanned aerial systems, also known as drones.
