LPN to RN Application Period Extended

In light of Hurricane Sandy and the college being closed, TNCC will extend the application period for two additional days. Rather than closing the application period on Wednesday, October 31st, the application period will end at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd.

2012-2011 TNCC parking permits expire Friday, August 31

The College’s 2011-2012 parking permits expire on Friday, August 31. TNCC Police will begin ticketing for expired permits and other parking violations on Tuesday, September 4. Police Chief Kelvin Maxwell encourages students, faculty and staff to use designated parking areas and respect individuals’ reserved spaces.
Applications for 2012-2013 parking permits are available online.
Keeping it Simple – Managing your Student Loan Debt

The U.S. Department of Education will offer qualified borrowers a short-term loan consolidation opportunity from January through June 30, 2012, as announced on October 26, 2011. To help provide guidance to your students, keep in mind the following details.
- This program is not yet available and not everyone will qualify. Beginning in January, federal loan servicers will contact student loan borrowers who qualify.
- It’s important for borrowers to wait for eligibility notification and application instructions to determine if they qualify. After receiving instructions, qualified borrowers will be able to apply through a new online process.

Online applications are now available for 2011-2012 Parking Hang Tags
Online parking hang tag applications for the 2011-12 academic year are available on the Thomas Nelson website.
Fees for parking is included in tuition and fees.
Apply Now for Spring Semester 2011 Financial Aid

Students who have not applied for financial aid still have time to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.gov. Enter the school code for Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) which is 006871. Students will be notified of the results of their FAFSA via e-mail in approximately two weeks.

- Complete online parking application at www.tncc.edu/parking/student/studentparkapp.php
- Remember to print and review your confirmation page which includes the date and location to pick up your permit
- Your valid TNCC student ID is required to pick-up your permit. If you do not have a TNCC student ID, you may obtain one in the Photo ID office located in Diggs Hall, Room 155. Your first TNCC student ID is free.
