The College also received an honorable mention for its SpaceTec brochure designed by Sherril Schmitz of Déjà vu Design, Inc.
This year’s Excellence in Communications Competition comprised 15 categories, with the top three entries in each category receiving awards. The VCCA received 191 submissions from 17 colleges and the VCCS. The Public Relations and Marketing team at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland was selected at this year’s judges because of their expertise in public relations, marketing, writing, photography, graphic design and knowledge of the challenges in marketing community colleges.
