The Office of Outreach and Recruitment has been renamed the Office of Secondary School Programs. This change was made to accurately reflect the functions performed therein and show our commitment to creating a smooth transition for high school students into college or the workforce. Located in suite 709 in Hampton III, the office still manages TNCC’s Dual Enrollment, Career Coach and Career Pathways programs. It is staffed by two part time Dual Enrollment Coordinators and five part time Career Coaches. Kris Rarig supervises these programs as well as Enrollment Services. She also chairs the Joint Recruitment Committee and coordinates outreach events. The Office of Secondary School Programs can be reached at 825-2801 or 825-2706.

This summer, 36 Surry students are taking Biology and Information Technology courses at the College’s Hampton campus. Some of the students also participated in last year’s program.
