Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) will test its emergency notification procedures at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12 during a statewide tornado drill. The date is designated as Tornado Preparedness Day in the Commonwealth.
During the drill, all components of the College’s emergency notification process will be tested including campus-wide student, faculty and staff e-mail, TNCC internet homepage alerts and e2Campus. Used by roughly 650 campuses nationwide, e2Campus is a web-based unified emergency notification system that enables the transmission of instant alerts to cell phones, land lines and/or several other communications devices.
