Several new classes join Thomas Nelson Community College’s (TNCC) offerings for spring semester 2012. Spring classes begin Saturday, Jan. 7. Students may register and make tuition payments in person on the Hampton and Historic Triangle campuses, or online at www.tncc.edu.
A new distance learning course, Japanese I (JPN 101), is among new classes. The online course is taught by Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) using Blackboard via the Internet. The five-credit course develops the understanding, speaking, reading, and writing of Japanese and emphasizes the structure of the language.
Those interested in Japanese I may join TNCC on the Hampton campus for a one-hour orientation session at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4 in the Dr. Mary T. Christian Auditorium, Templin Hall. For more information, contact TNCC Program Director Karen Althoff at AlthoffK@tncc.edu.
