Thomas Nelson Community Colleges continues to improve our network and the service we provide to our students and customers. In support of these goals we will be making some important upgrades on Thursday, September 27th from 11pm until 5am on the 28th. During this time the Thomas Nelson website ( will be unavailable. Workforce Development Launches New Information Security Certificate Program

In this tough economy, workers need quick  training for high-paying jobs. For those looking to enter computer related fields with less than a bachelor’s degree, computer certifications are ideal. With this in mind, Thomas Nelson Community College Workforce Development recently launched a new Information Security Professional Certificate program to train workers for in-demand computer jobs in just a few months.

This innovative program prepares students and transitioning workers to take industry-recognized skill certification exams that lead to high paying jobs. The certificate is designed for adult students entering the field, those who want to change careers and IT professionals who want to advance their career. Classes include A+ Certified Professional, Network+ Certified Professional, and Security+ Certified Professional.


New Procedures for TNCC Wireless Network

TNCC has implemented a new security procedure for accessing the wireless network here at Thomas Nelson. We are continuing to provide a secure work environment and we have implemented a Network Access Control appliance that will ensure that you have permission to access our network.
