Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) will spice up ENG 111: College Composition I with custom courses designed to coincide with the following areas of study: Science and Technology, Social Science, Business and Accounting, Liberal Arts, and Pre-Nursing.

The Communication and Humanities Division at Thomas Nelson Community College invites the public to attend a Faculty Colloquium to take place during the fall semester on the College’s Hampton campus.

Heath Scott, Assistant Professor of English will give a presentation on Thursday, October 4 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. entitled, Stranger Ones Have Come by Here: A Teacher’s Journey through India.” This year, Scott participated in the first Virginia Council for International Education (VaCIE) exchange program to Kolkata, India. He spent two weeks at Jadavpur University working with faculty and administrators to forward the mission of the Virginia Community College System, and establish a permanent exchange program for faculty and students.
