LPN to RN Application Period Extended

In light of Hurricane Sandy and the college being closed, TNCC will extend the application period for two additional days. Rather than closing the application period on Wednesday, October 31st, the application period will end at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd.

Eight TNCC Students Honored During Nurse Pinning Ceremony

Eight Thomas Nelson Community College Nursing students were acknowledged during a Pinning Ceremony earlier this month in Williamsburg. The students completed an Associate in Applied Science Degree Program in Nursing at the College’s Historic Triangle campus.
A symbolic, but meaningful event, the Pinning Ceremony marked a new facet in the personal and professional lives of the graduating Nursing students, said Mary K. Howard, Nursing Program chair.
Williamsburg Community Health Foundation Grant Allows Thomas Nelson to Expand Healthcare Programs at Historic Triangle Campus

The Thomas Nelson Community College Educational Foundation, Inc. received two grant awards totaling $170,563 from the Williamsburg Community Health Foundation to fund four projects to enhance the quality of life and health for citizens living in Greater Williamsburg. “Thomas Nelson Community College is committed to expanding its allied health programs in the Historic Triangle. Collaborative relationships such as this one are key to ensuring that citizens of the Greater Williamsburg community and our region have highly qualified health care providers in their community,” said Thomas Nelson Community College president Dr. Charles A. Taylor. “This grant award reaffirms the commitment of the Williamsburg Community Health Foundation to improving the quality of life for the citizens of Greater Williamsburg. Thomas Nelson Community College will continue its commitment to delivering quality academic programs to the community. We value the trust this organization has placed in our programs.”
