High school seniors interested in becoming science and math teachers now have the opportunity to learn more about the Seamless Teacher Education Program (STEP), a joint admission program that allows students to start their education at Thomas Nelson Community College and continue at Old Dominion University without interruption. An informational session has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Espada Conference Center on the Hampton campus of Thomas Nelson Community College. The first cohort of students will begin the program in fall 2007. High school seniors from Hampton, Newport News, James City County/Williamsburg, York County, Poquoson and Gloucester school divisions are eligible to participate.
