Thomas Nelson Community College Phi Theta Kappa to Host Lecture Seminars

The Virginia Peninsula – The Thomas Nelson Community College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will be hosting the presentation of the following pre-recorded lectures:

•    “The Iraq War and Its Consequences in the Middle East”
Thursday, October 26 at 6:00 pm in the Mary Christian Auditorium.
Presenter: Dan Senor, former Chief Spokesperson for the U.S.-led Coalition in Iraq and a Senior Advisor to Presidential Envoy L. Paul Bremer III.

•    “Lobbyists and the Power of Money in Washington”
Thursday, November 9 at 6:00 p.m. in the Mary Christian Auditorium.
Presenter: Jeffrey Birnbaum is an award-winning columnist for the Washington Post, author, and commentator for National Public Radio and Fox News.

•    “Lessons Learned from My Grandfather”
Thursday, November 30 at 6:00 p.m. in the Mary Christian Auditorium
Presenter: Arun Gandhi, the grandson of the legendary peace fighter Mahatma Gandhi, and founder of the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence.
