Thomas Nelson Community College will host its annual Halloween Poetry Reading on Tuesday, October 25 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Historic Triangle campus, 4601 Opportunity Way, Williamsburg. Presented by TNCC’s Creative Writing class and the Student Government Association, the event is open to TNCC students, faculty and staff as well as members of the community.
The free event will feature entertaining readings of original poetry and prose. Participants and attendees are encouraged to wear costumes for the event. This is the fifth year for the Halloween Poetry Reading at the Historic Triangle campus. “It began as a class activity for the creative writing students to participate in. However, from the beginning, the campus community and the public were always invited,” said Assistant Professor of English Diana Martin.
