Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) will host its 2013 Open House this spring with activities taking place Friday, April 19 on the Hampton campus and Friday, April 26 at the Historic Triangle campus in Williamsburg. Activities run 2-5 p.m. both days giving attendees an overview of TNCC’s admissions process, available degree programs and options for transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
The free event will also focus on financial aid, scholarships and transfer agreements with four-year colleges. TNCC staff members will be on hand to share details about available student activities such as clubs, sports and more. Prospective students and their families will get an opportunity to tour the campus they visit and talk with currently enrolled students.
Founded in 1967, TNCC is the fourth largest among Virginia’s 23 community colleges and primarily serves Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg, James City County and York County.
