For the Fall Job Fair, you have it listed as Thursday, October 14. Thursday is the 13th, and Friday is the 14th. Which date is it. I would like to attend. Currently I am unemployed (since June 18, 2010), and have been working diligently to obtain employment. I am working with VEC and starting to find organizations to network with. I am also getting some interviews, but not getting hired. My career has been in Juvenile Justice, and mostly recently laid off due to budget cuts with NN Public Schools as a Special Education teacher. Long story short, I do not want to return to teaching. I am trying to get back with Probation and Parole (adult or juvenile) and/or transition into case management with Social Service type positions (children, adults/elderly). Any advice I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
