TNCC International Honor Society and Honors Program Sponsor Seminar Series on Pop Culture

The Virginia Peninsula – The Thomas Nelson Community College International Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa and the TNCC Honors Program are sponsoring a video seminar series on Pop Culture; Shaping and Reflecting Who We Are. The seminars run for one hour and are followed by a short discussion. The seminars are shown in the Espada Conference Room in Moore Hall on the Hampton campus at 6:00 p.m.
The schedule for the seminars is as follows:
- Monday March 27 – “Shattering Stereotypes: How Popular Culture Vilifies the Cultural Other”
- Monday April 10 – “Born to Buy: Advertising and the New Consumer”
- Monday April 24 – “Jesus in America: Personal Savior or Cultural Hero”
