Thomas Nelson Community College Workforce Development offers Peninsula job seekers the opportunity to find jobs with more than 30 hiring employers at its annual spring job fair on Thursday, April 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Peninsula Workforce Development Center (PWDC) located at 600 Butler Farm Road in Hampton.
In addition, the job fair features workshops on starting a business, writing resumes, interviewing, finding federal jobs and more. Last year, over one thousand people attended this event.
During the Fair, employers may conduct on-site interviews. Therefore, participants are strongly encouraged to wear professional dress and to bring extra copies of their résumés.
Representatives from Canon Virginia and Northrop Grumman Apprenticeship School, two of the Peninsula’s largest employers, will join other representatives from manufacturing, hospitality, and retail companies.

How to Write a Winning Resume 9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Interviewing Skills 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
How to Start a Small Business 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
How to find a Federal Job 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
While attending the fair, jobseekers may tour the Career Resource Center and walk across the hall to the Virginia Employment Commission for additional assistance and services.
