The Office of Financial Aid announces that students who have anticipated aid in excess of paying their tuition and fees have two ways to purchase books and supplies up to $650 for the upcoming summer semester.
Beginning Tuesday, May 11 students may order books and supplies online through the TNCC bookstore at www.tncc.edu/bookstore/ and use their financial aid for the purchases. Students may order new or used books and pick up their purchases, or have the items shipped to them. Shipping charges of up to $19.99 will be deducted from their financial aid. Shipping charges over $19.99 will require payment by the student.
Students can go to the College’s bookstore to purchase books and supplies on the following dates and sequences:
- May 13, Last Name-A-K
- May 14, Last Name-L-Z
- May 15-28, open to all
Bookstore hours – Hampton campus
(effective May 10-May 28, 2010)
- Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, 8:00 a.m. to noon
(The bookstore will be open Friday, May 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
Bookstore hours – Historic Triangle campus
(normal hours of operation)
- Monday-Wednesday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
- Thursday, 12:00-7:00 p.m.
- Friday, closed
Students may note that all bookstore charges for 10-week, eight-week, six-week, first five-week and second five-week class sessions as well as dynamic dated sessions must occur during the charge dates listed above. These dates are the only times that students may charge books with financial aid, regardless of when their classes begin.
