Thomas Nelson Community College’s (TNCC) Department of Performing Arts will present “Frankenstein – A Radio Drama” June 23-26 in the Dr. Mary T. Christian Auditorium on the Hampton campus. The production is open to the public with Thursday through Saturday performances at 8 p.m., and a 3 p.m. show on Sunday.
“Frankenstein – A Radio Drama” is Phillip Grecian’s adaptation of Mary Wollstencraft Shelley’s novel. Actors will entertain audiences with the familiar horror tale of Frankenstein, a deranged beast created from corpses stolen from a graveyard. When the creature sets out to harm others, chaos ensues and every human is in danger, including Frankenstein’s creator.
Produced by special arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois, this project is made possible with the support of the TNCC Educational Foundation, The City of Hampton, The Hampton Arts Commission, The City of Newport News and the Newport News Arts Commission. Tickets are $12, $7 for students, seniors and military.
