HAMPTON, Va. – Do you have a passion for the stage? Now is the time to show off your acting ability. Thomas Nelson Community College’s (TNCC) Department of Performing Arts will present “Frankenstein – A Radio Drama” June 23-26. Open auditions will be held at 7 p.m. May 23 and 24 in Room 830, Templin Hall.

Audition participants will be asked to perform cold readings from the script, and six men and four women will be selected to star in the production. Two sound artists and one keyboardist will also be selected for the production.

“Frankenstein – A Radio Drama” is Phillip Grecian’s adaptation of Mary Wollstencraft Shelley’s novel. Actors will entertain audiences with the familiar horror tale of Frankenstein, a deranged beast created from corpses stolen from a graveyard. When the creature sets out to harm others, chaos ensues and every human is in danger, including Frankenstein’s creator.
