TNCC’s Second Eight-week Class Session Begins March 11

It’s not too late to start spring classes at Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC). The College’s second eight-week session starts Monday, March 11. Take classes at the Hampton campus and the Historic Triangle campus in Williamsburg. Day, evening and online classes are available. Students may also take classes at TNCC’s Southeast Higher Education Center located at An Achievable Dream Middle & High School in Newport News. Visit for a complete list of available classes.

Students can register online at, or in person during the following times: Monday  through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon in Room 208, Griffin Hall on the Hampton campus. At the Historic Triangle campus, visit room 117 to register. Tuition payment for this eight-week class session is due at the time of registration.

Fundamentals II; Hazardous Materials Chemistry; Intermediate German; History of World Civilization II; United States History II; Introduction to Human Services; Basic Counseling Skills I; Communication Skills for Human Services Professionals; Substance Abuse I; Web Page Design II; Introduction to Computer Applications and Concepts; Information Literacy; Multimedia Software; WAN (Wide Area Networking) Technologies – CISCO; Principles of Selling; Pre-calculus I and II; Developmental Math (Technology-Based) II; Music Appreciation I and II; Astronomy II; Communication, Nursing Process and Care Planning; Pilates; Exercise and Nutrition I; Zumba; Lifetime Fitness and Wellness; Golf I; Tennis I; Volleyball; Sports Appreciation; Ethics; Principles of Psychology; Religions of the World II and College Success Skills.
