Thomas Nelson Community College and University of Virginia’s adult degree completion program offers a part-time and flexible way to earn an undergraduate degree from U.VA. by simply attending classes at Thomas Nelson’s Historic Triangle campus in Williamsburg. With day, evening, weekend, and online classes, this transfer program is designed with the busy adult student in mind. Students applying to the U.VA. BIS degree program must:
- Have 60 semester credits of transferable college course work from one or more regionally accredited colleges or universities with a grade of C or better in each course. At least 15 transferable credits must be from Thomas Nelson.
- Be in good standing with a minimum 2.0 GPA from the last college attended.
- Be at least four years past high school graduation.
- Have no previous degree from a four-year institution.
