In this tough economy, workers need quick training for high-paying jobs. For those looking to enter computer related fields with less than a bachelor’s degree, computer certifications are ideal. With this in mind, Thomas Nelson Community College Workforce Development recently launched a new Information Security Professional Certificate program to train workers for in-demand computer jobs in just a few months.
This innovative program prepares students and transitioning workers to take industry-recognized skill certification exams that lead to high paying jobs. The certificate is designed for adult students entering the field, those who want to change careers and IT professionals who want to advance their career. Classes include A+ Certified Professional, Network+ Certified Professional, and Security+ Certified Professional.
In many cases employers pay for their employees to attend these classes because these nationally-recognized certifications demonstrate computer knowledge and can increase employee competency and productivity. For additional information on the new program, visit www.tncc.edu/workforce.
