Academic Advising

Service Hours

All current academic advising services are virtual.

Scheduled Appointment Advising Services
Scheduled advising appointments are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays for students pursuing a certificate or degree program. New and returning students must access Navigate by logging into their MyTNCC portal to schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor. For technical difficulties, contact the helpdesk at helpdesk@tncc.edu or call 757-825-2709.

Fast Track ‘Drop-In’ Advising Services
Fast Track ‘Drop-In’ Advising services are available every Thursday for students pursuing a certificate or degree program. New and returning students must access Navigate on Thursdays by logging into their MyTNCC portal to ‘check-in’ with their assigned advisor. Services are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis with sessions no longer than 20 minutes. Wait times for Fast Track Drop-In Advising services will vary.
