Volunteers and Donations Needed for Pop-Up Clothes Closet

Be part of something special by supporting the Care Team as it prepares to present its spring Pop-Up Clothes Closet.

Everyone can participate by donating clean, gently-used clothing suitable for men, women and children. Donations of jackets, suits, professional attire, backpacks, lunch bags, toiletries, accessories, children's books and more are welcome.

Drop off donations 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday, March 28 at the Hampton campus in the Wythe Hall Gallery outside the library. Reusable shopping bags and totes are also needed and can be taken to Griffin Hall, room 201.

The Clothes Closet will open in Wythe Hall to serve students, faculty and staff free of charge. Shopping hours are 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. on March 29 and 8 a.m . - 5 p.m. the following day.

The Care Team will donate all items left after the event to local non-profit groups and thrift stores.
