College Hosting May 24 Peninsula Executive Leadership Forum
Thomas Nelson Community College Workforce Development in partnership with the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce will present the Peninsula Executive Leadership Forum (PELF) Tuesday, May 24 at the College's Hampton campus.
The gathering of business and industry leaders from across the region will take place in Wythe Hall featuring Alexis Swann, president of TowneBank-Peninsula and Williamsburg, as the keynote speaker.
Swann joined TowneBank in 2019 bringing three decades of banking industry experience. She holds an MBA in finance from the College of William and Mary, a BBA in marketing from Howard University, and financial planning certification from Old Dominion University.
Also in 2019, Swann was appointed to the Board of Visitors of Virginia Commonwealth University by Governor Ralph Northam. Additionally, she serves on the boards of United Way of Virginia Peninsula, Jamestown Yorktown Foundation Inc., Fear to Freedom, Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, and the Hampton Delta Foundation Inc.

The forum also serves to foster dialogue that inspires and motivates excellence in business leadership.
