Financial Aid Options Plentiful, New FAFSA Opens Oct. 1
Recognizing that costs might deter some from considering college, Virginia Peninsula Community College officials offer assurance that higher education is attainable. The College provides many funding options to help students cover tuition and other related expenses.
Options include federal and state financial aid (including grants), Educational Foundation scholarships, veteran and active-duty education benefits, workforce development assistance, and the Virginia Peninsula Community College Payment Plan.
"Our Financial Aid & Military/Veteran Services team encourages everyone who applies to the College to complete the 2023-2024 FAFSA application if they want to be considered for any assistance offered," noted Financial Aid, Military & Veteran Services Director Marc Vernon.
Vernon said the new 2023-2024 FAFSA becomes available on Saturday, Oct. 1, and is accessible at studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.
