Virginia Peninsula Community College will be closed July 4 and July 5 for Independence Day. Campuses in Hampton and Williamsburg will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, July 8.
A federal holiday since 1941, Independence Day commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. The Continental Congress approved the final wording of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The holiday celebrates the birth of the United States of America.
The College will offer many services, including fall 2024 registration, online at vpcc.edu while closed.
