College Update

Thomas Nelson Community College Police have determined there is no imminent threat to the College. A threat to commit violence, specifically shooting, was written on a wall at the Hampton campus on Tuesday, July 10. Thomas Nelson Police investigated the incident while increasing police presence.
 

The College is always vigilant and routinely works with its partners in law enforcement, including City of Hampton Police and Virginia State Police, to set a high standard of safety for the Thomas Nelson community.

College officials continue to urge all if you see something, say something and report suspicious activity to Thomas Nelson police or call 911.

Vigilance is important to maintaining a safe learning and working environment. The College offers tools for reporting suspicious behavior. The MAXIENT Report an Incident  button located on Thomas Nelson's website at the bottom of each page allows confidential reporting of any incident and affords urgent attention.
