Poetry Coffeehouse Series Lets In-House Talent Shine

Calling all poets, spoken word artists and wordsmiths: let your creativity shine this spring during an open-mic Poetry Coffeehouse series. Sponsored by Thomas Nelson’s library, the open mic gatherings will take place at campuses in Hampton and the Historic Triangle, Williamsburg.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to share their original work or favorite poem focused on a different theme each month. February's is "What is Love?" For April, participants may focus on the theme, "Journeys!"

Also open to spectators, the 1 – 2 p.m. Poetry Coffeehouse series will take place in room 100-M at the Historic Triangle and Diggs Hall's room 158 in Hampton. The schedule is as follows:
