New Student Orientation | Thomas Nelson Community College

New Student Orientation

In a move to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 amid a surging new variant, Thomas Nelson (becoming Virginia Peninsula Community College) is switching most of its classes from in-person to virtual for the first two weeks of spring semester. Read more.

New Student Orientation is a fun and interactive way to learn about programs of study, academic and student support resources, transferring to a four-year institution, and student life.

New Student Orientation is a program for all students with no prior college or university enrollment, including Early College high school students. As a new student, you are required to attend a New Student Orientation session. Orientation sessions will be delivered via Zoom
